    I invited a user and gave it some permissions.The user created some visualisations and worked with data sets.I removed the permissions.I removed the user.The user could not log in at first, but selected “Forgot the password”. Changed the password and could log in.At this point the user can continue to work on visualisations, and create new ones (on opendata). This is not the problem.The problem is this – the user is not visible in the Back Office when selecting “Users & Groups->Users”.Not even when searching for that specific user. For the user, it looks fine. However…The user goes to “Your account->Settings”Changes the personal information, the name.Presses “Save my information”“Your changes have been saved” is shown.However…nothing is saved of these changes. And the user is still not visible in the Back Office. There is a workaround - the admin can invite the user again. But the main issue remains - Admin should be able to see the user in Back Office since all other users are found there.

    Hello the ODS community, Here is a new idea: be able to impersonate one user. For example, I am inviting user XXX on the platform, I add him in different groups (for which we have configured some security on datasets and visualisations). I would like to be able to see what the user XXX will see after accepting the invite. I don’t know if it could help anybody else, but for us it would be very nice to help “debug” access to some datasets/visualisationsThanks!

This is great however, we have no idea which record/s get deduplicated and would like to make sure we are fixing data at the source. On creating a dataset/loading a source can we get a notification of the records that are de-duplicated?

    Support for Custom Icons on MapsOpen

    Allowing custom icons on Opendatasoft maps would greatly enhance the visual appeal and usability of spatial datasets. Branded or context-specific icons can make it easier for users to interpret map content at a glance, and are particularly important for government agencies that rely on standardised or officially mandated symbols for public-facing maps. Currently, to meet these requirements, some users are forced to export their data and build maps in external tools like Mapbox. Enabling native support for custom icons within ODS would reduce friction, improve design consistency, and help retain users within the platform.

    Prevent Parent Portal from Overconsuming Workspace StorageOpen

    We’ve observed that in Opendatasoft, when a parent portal is allocated a total amount of storage (e.g., 12GB) and a portion of that is assigned to a workspace (e.g., 10GB), the system still allows the parent portal to consume unused workspace storage if it exceeds its own allocation. This creates a risk where the workspace may not have access to its full allocated capacity when needed. A potential improvement would be to introduce a setting that locks or enforces the storage allocation between the parent portal and workspaces—ensuring that each environment can only use its designated quota unless explicitly reallocated. This would support more predictable and fair storage usage across teams.

    Add two step verification at log-in for users with permissions to change things (i.e. those that can change data sets/pages etc).Maybe it could be an option even for those that have permission to browse data sets that are not public.This way, those who are concerned about security will feel a bit at ease.

    Jeu de données avec recherches isochronesOpen

    Bonjour à toutes et à tous,Nous souhaiterions ajouter la possibilité de faire une recherche isochrone sur un jeu de données. Nous réfléchissons à la production d’un jeu de données recensant certains points d’intérêt, l’idée serait pour un utilisateur de pouvoir choisir un point sur une carte et d’avoir en retour un filtrage de la liste sur les enregistrements situés à un certain temps de trajet (à pied, à vélo ou en voiture) autour de ce point.Des API sont proposées sur le portail GéoServices ou Geoapify par exemple mais nous ne savons pas comment procéder pour intégrer cela sur notre plate-forme OpenDataSoft.Est-ce qu’un membre de la communauté aurait déjà mis en oeuvre ce genre de fonctionnalité ? Si oui, auriez-vous des tutoriels à nous soumettre ?Merci d’avance pour vos réponses.Davy

    Field type of timeOpen

    We would like to suggest a new field type/format of time.We have event type data we publish -- some of which are days and some of which have set start and end times.We know we can use date or datetime but there is no time optionthe highlighted ‘event’ goes across days so the system it comes from allows a date selector with no time.  As we are in GMT+10 it displays at 10am on the 17th May to 10am on the 19th May.  The actual event runs on 17, 18 and 19th May at differing times.

    Exact SearchOpen

    I would like to request ODS supports and includes an “exact” search option.  I would have thought the option of searching for title:”parking” would bring back options with the term “parking” in the title and not parks (for example).  I have commented in this thread:And seen this thread however I think it deserves it’s own thread.Users want to find what they want not have a “fuzzy” match if they are going to the bother of using standard search methods such as enclosing in quotation marks.

    Hello, When placing only strictly necessary cookies, the cookie consent banner is only displayed when clicking in the footer tab. I would like to have more flexibility in the banner management to be able to display the cookie consent banner - i.e for users upon their first visit - even if I don’t place cookies that require users' explicit consent.Thanks :)

    Need to assign a licence to the catalog itselfOpen

    The national portal has informed me that there has to be a licence for the catalog itself not only for the datasets.This is not possible to do in the portal. You can’t assign a licence (e .g. CC0) to the catalog. Is this something unique for the swedish instance of DCAT_AP or something that more opendatasoft customers wants?

    Bonjour,dans le studio, lorsqu’on crée différents blocs dans une section, leur répartition en largeur sont fixes (si j’ai 2 blocs : chacun utilise 50% de l’espace, si j’en ai 3 : 33%, etc...)… Hors, si on veut présenter une page dans un esprit  : KPI + graphique associé (donc sur 2 blocs à 50 % chacun), on se retrouve avec un très large KPI et un graphique  très souvent trop petit du fait de la taille du bloc.Aussi, dans la partie “Disposition des blocs”, ne serait-il pas possible d’ajouter un paramètre qui permette de définir 1/3 - 2/3 lorsqu'on est sur 2 blocs et idem pour les configurations à 3 ou 4 blocs ? ou d’avoir un sélecteur de taille qui permettrait de redimensionner en largeur les blocs pour une répartition plus agréable ?Bonne idée… non ?Amélie Auto-translation 🪄Hello, in the studio, when we create different blocks in a section, their width distribution is fixed (if I have 2 blocks: each uses 50% of the space, if I have 3: 33%, etc. ...)… However, if we want to present a page in a spirit: KPI + associated graph (so on 2 blocks at 50% each), we end up with a very large KPI and a graph very often too small due to the size of the block.     Optimizations in StudioOpen

    1 While working with Studio, we discovered a few “imperfections”. For example, in bar charts, the value of one section is written to the next section. For a better understanding, here is an example:The red area shows the number of men, the gray area the number of women. However, the number of men is written in the women's block. Couldn't this be placed in the men's block? 2 The doughnuts (and also the diagrams) are also somewhat unsightly. Certain labels are only displayed when the cursor is moved over them, even if there is actually enough space for a ‘permanent’ label:or 3 For charts, a subtitle is mandatory as soon as you select the variant with title and data labels. Could this not be set to optional?

    Data portals may collect sensitive information requiring different levels of access. When a user requests an account, individual portals should be able to set the required fields in order to determine if access can be given.  e.g., for some portals, we may want the description to be a required field (it is currently an optional field.)Specifically for certain email accounts that we can’t verify we would like to require an explanation that helps us answer:Who are you? What is your purpose for data access?

    Schedules - selectable timezone or UTCOpen

    It would be great if the schedule of a dataset to be published could be via a UTC or a selectable timezone rather than fixed as Paris time.  Paris has daylight savings which can cause timing issues for the rest of the world.
