Dashboard without visible dataset?

We have created some dashboards for students that are not yet publicly visible. The charts and KPIs on the dashboards are very aggregated, but the underlying datasets could be sensitive in terms of data protection. Is there a way that the datasets can only be used for the dashboards without a visitor to our ODS website being able to access the dataset itself?

An alternative would be to hide some columns in the data set, but these are included again when exporting. Or is there a restriction option so that only the data that is visible on the ODS website can be exported?

As an addendum: the dashboards were created with no-code-editor.

To connect your private dataset to the public dashboard, place the API key inside the ODS context as described in the Opendatasoft docs here .
It can only work for dashboard made with code editor. It doesn’t work for dashboard made with Studio page unfortunatly.

Hi,
You can manage access to datasets by assigning permissions to users or groups. This way, only the dashboards can use the data, while external visitors have no visibility on the datasets.

Hello
Yes, I already know that I can restrict access to the dataset. But then external visitors can't use the dashboard, can they?

Hi,
If you want a private dataset with a public dashboard, the solution is to use an API key in the context to access the private dataset.
