I would like to create collections, a grouping of assets which are related. For example on gov.uk they will release a report or finding and on the page will be everything related to it such as the report, data and links. How can we best achieve this in the marketplace experience?

Hi Danny

Great use case, here's how to approach it with the current marketplace.

Today: You can create a new asset using either a Studio page or a Code Editor page to act as a collection. On that page, you can bring together links to related assets, embed charts built on the relevant datasets, and add text or links to files attached to those assets. It works well as a landing page for a report or thematic grouping. To make these collections easy to find in the catalog, I'd recommend creating a dedicated category (e.g. "Collections") so users can filter and identify them quickly.

Coming: We're currently working on native Data Products support in the marketplace. Data Products will be exactly this — named collections of related assets, publishable and searchable as a unit directly in the platform, with their own dedicated landing page. We're also exploring additional ways to make them easier to discover and consume. No timeline to share yet, but it's actively in progress.
