I think I remember that in the legacy experience, in the Table view, if you mouse hovered over the field (column) heading, the field’s Description metadata would appear. This was and would be quite useful for fields which are defined in complex or ambiguous ways, so that the user can quickly understand the derivation of the values and the meaning of the data.
Currently in the marketplace experience, hover over the field names just reproduces the name. Could it be changed (back) to show the description?
