Drawing Shapes in Map view

In the past we were able to draw a polygon in a geographical map (e.g. Germany Postal Codes). This was used to extract a specific list of postal codes and areas based on the polygon. Right now it does not seem to be possible to draw those polygons on the map anymore. Is there a way around it or a possibility in the future again?

No I’m sorry, we don’t release this feature but it is on our roadmap for the new explorer after we will release the record table and the map view.
Stay connected, we are working hardly to deliver the best exploration tool that you want.

Hello Tim,

Effectively, we have changed the used library for maps in the new experience of data marketplace and for the moment, the tool selection on map to filter datasets are not available.

We had some feedback on these feature and we think rework on this component at the start of 2026.

A way around could be to use the available filters on left column. You can use facets to refine the selection. But it will be based on hierarchical and not geographical information.
