📌 Context & problem statement

Currently, our visualization assets mix two very different types of showcases :

  1. Internal reuse (intended for Business Manager / BM).

  2. External reuse (intended for the General Public).

The lack of a clear distinction between the two can cause confusion for the end user.

🚀 Identified Action

To address this, can it be possible to add a new asset category "External Reuse" ?

Thanks @Mathieu Wolfarth for suggesting this product idea ! 💡

Hello,

You can use a custom metadata to resolve this.

Hi @Mathieu Wolfarth,

By design, all types of reuses are categorized as Showcases so they can be referenced across several different categories of assets.

That said, depending on your internal organization, you can absolutely create a category for reuses created by other teams, partners, or external stakeholders. That’s actually what UKPN and  Digital Ajman did with their “Re-use case” and “Powered by Community” asset categories! ;)
